Victory

Jesus Christ Is Lord!
9 July 2010

In the past several letters I have spoken of the fall from listening to God’s standard as the only truth, about grace, and mentioned several related scriptures about the victory over death. A month ago (9 June) I wrote about the narrow way and few their be that find it, and told you that the same word translated narrow is also translated tribulation.

Matthew 12:20 says, “A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory.”

Later in this chapter we hear about the unforgivable sin being blasphemy against the Holy Ghost.
Matthew 12:31 says, “Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.”

The word victory above is from the same root word, nike, translated many times into overcome.

The victory over this world of tribulation?

In John 16:33 Jesus says He has overcome; “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

What is it that overcomes this world?
1 John 5:4 says, “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”

What is faith? Believing what you hear and then acting on it.
Romans 3
3For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?
4God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
5But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as a man)
6God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world?

I have many times told you that the unforgivable sin is telling God he is wrong about His standard of right and wrong. See my letter of 22 May 2009 pasted below.

Church, what are you going to do?
Revelation 3
14And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
15I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
17Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
18I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
19As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
20Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
21To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
22He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

FYI, the translation of Laoddicean is a people shown judgment or vengeance.

Please, read the full chapters.

Are you starting to see?

Do you see the antichrist, his angels and the media beast?

Good and evil is defined by what Obama says and does. National security policies are evil until the same policies are implemented and indorsed by Obama and then they become good.

Deficits destroy the nation and are bad until it is Obama creating them and then they are good, until he has created them. He then proclaims they aren’t his any longer and therefore deficits are bad again.

Do any of your remember me defining for you what the original sin actually is, what the unforgivable sin is, and the difference between a forgiven sinner and one not?

Proverbs 17

The original sin was Satan seducing man into the deception that God didn’t really define right and wrong.

In Genesis 3 you never hear Adam say, Father, I was wrong. Please forgive.
This was something that had to happen. You had to learn the consequences of sin. You had to learn it would always lead to death of innocence and eventually the death of all humanity. Adam didn’t understand. It wasn’t understood when it was demonstrated and explained over and over again. It wasn’t understood when you crucified Christ defining him as evil and the evil as good.
Luke 23
34Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

The fall continues with the degeneration or wrong into right.
Moral relativism; I am good, if I do it it is good because I am good. If I am good and what I do is good and God says it’s wrong then God is wrong and therefore evil. It is defining morality by your own actions.
(I heard Glenn Beck the other day asked by a guest if he though Homosexuality was OK. He said, “yes, it’s OK, I have some homosexuals working for me”(paraphrase).
This is the point: Homosexuality is wrong, always has been a perversion and will always be a perversion. Does the fact that some people that are homosexuals are nice people or work for you make it right? No, it doesn’t change the fact that it’s wrong.)

Brings us to the unforgivable sin; Telling God he is wrong instead of asking for forgiveness.
We are all sinners, but some will only use this saying to avoid being judged.

You can see this projected daily by the beast. They first use these methods and standards to define who the good and evil people are, and then anything coming from the good they project as good and anything coming from the evil they will project as evil. Ergo, Barack Obama is good; George Bush and Dick Cheney are evil, and the identical act coming from each can be defined as both good and evil.

You know who I am, I change not.

The conclusion is this is the conclusion. All the dead who say they never heard; this is their time to hear. No one will be able to say they didn’t know.

1 Peter 4
5Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.
6For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
7But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.

Revelation 14
6And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
7Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

Proverbs 17, Genesis 3, Luke 23, 1 Peter 4, Revelation 14

Malachi 3
1Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the LORD, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.
2But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap:
3And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.
4Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the LORD, as in the days of old, and as in former years.
5And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.
6For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
7Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?
8Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
9Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.
10Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
11And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.
12And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.
13Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee?
14Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts?
15And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.
16Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.
17And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
18Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

Psalms 18
