Jesus Christ Is Lord!
6 August 2010
The question is what will YOU do? One of the greatest speeches ever given was Patrick Henry, 23 March 1775 at St. John’s Church.
In this speech he asked how long we will wait before we act, and will we act at all. The battle had already begun but there were many calling for inaction and continuing the status quo even though the abuses were increasing.
You can and should read the entire speech at: http://www.history.org/almanack/life/politics/giveme.cfm
The time for talking has ended.
Psalms 69
22Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap.
23Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins continually to shake.
24Pour out thine indignation upon them, and let thy wrathful anger take hold of them.
25Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell in their tents.
26For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; and they talk to the grief of those whom thou hast wounded.
27Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into thy righteousness.
28Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.
29But I am poor and sorrowful: let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high.
Who is Israel according to the election? Jews and Christians are Israel.
Romans 9 – 11, Matthew 19
Psalm 36
1The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.
2For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.
3The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good.
4He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not evil.
5Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.
6Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O LORD, thou preservest man and beast.
7How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.
8They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.
9For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.
10O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.
11Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me.
12There are the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down, and shall not be able to rise.
Again from 3 March 2009
I don’t just hope the Obama fails, I pray many times a day for it.
“The moment the idea is admitted into society, that property is not as sacred as the laws of God, and that there is not a force of law and public justice to protect it, anarchy and tyranny commence. If "Thou shalt not covet," and "Thou shalt not steal," were not commandments of Heaven, they must be made inviolable precepts in every society, before it can be civilized or made free.”
Wake Up! First Principles!
Understand first principles? One does not depend on two to be one, but two does depend on one. As do all numbers. Without one three is two. Therefore nothing claimed is reality without one.
First principles in the case of our government are those defined and specified in our constitution. Minus those we can only define ourselves, our government, in abstract terms alluding to what we are missing.
We can never be the reality of what we were intended unless we include the first principles.
We are founded on Hebrew- Christian principles.
John Adams: “I will insist that the Hebrews have done more to civilize men than any other nation. If I were an atheist, and believed in blind eternal fate, I should still believe that fate had ordained the Jews to be the most essential instrument for civilizing the nations. If I were an atheist of the other sect, who believe or pretend to believe that all is ordered by chance, I should believe that chance had ordered the Jews to preserve and propagate to all mankind the doctrine of a supreme, intelligent, wise, almighty sovereign of the universe, which I believe to be the great essential principle of all morality, and consequently of all civilization.”
Adams also prophesied in his letter to John Taylor (1814-04-15), “Liberty, according to my metaphysics, is an intellectual quality, an attribute that belongs not to fate nor chance. Neither possesses it, neither is capable of it. There is nothing moral or immoral in the idea of it. The definition of it is a self-determining power in an intellectual agent. It implies thought and choice and power; it can elect between objects, indifferent in point of morality, neither morally good nor morally evil.”
To understand, he went on to tell us, “Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide.”
Again this leads us back to the Adams’ statement of the necessity of moral people in government.
That is what he is saying. Liberty has no morality of its self. The morality attached to liberty come through the agent exercising it.
“We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge, or gallantry, would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a religious and moral people. It is wholly inadequate for the government of any other.”
13For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
14For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
15But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.
16This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
We can do this. We can overcome the curse of national suicide. We can do it by understanding we are not a democracy but a representative republic. The genius of the founding fathers was this. We elect representatives to be our self preservation mechanism.
Adams: “Nip the shoots of arbitrary power in the bud, is the only maxim which can ever preserve the liberties of any people.”
“A government of laws, and not of men.”
This is the crossroad at which we stand.
“Metaphysicians and politicians may dispute forever, but they will never find any other moral principle or foundation of rule or obedience, than the consent of governors and governed.”
If the representatives don’t intervene, reestablish the law, first principles, we are set on a course of the governed removing their consent and then comes suicide.
Adams said, “A Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom, can never be restored. Liberty, once lost, is lost forever.”
I believe we still have a chance. I ask all patriots to wake up and step up. We can do this.
Father, LORD, I pray Obama fails.
In the Name of
Jesus Christ My Lord
Thank You My Father
