A Charge to Keep

Yesterday I told you of those who are positions where they should have been protecting the truths of the faith and the founding principles, and haven’t been living up to their responsibility.
I talked about the false theories being put forward as wisdom when it was actually confusion and continued mutation induced by agenda driven self gain disguised as policy. I gave the unchanging truths, AGAIN, that we have been founded on.

Do you think these are something I do on my own? I have a charge to keep. I have a responsibility I will not waver from. This is who I am and have been. I change not.

1 Timothy 6:20 & 21

King James Version
20O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
21Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.

The Interlinear Bible literal translation
O Timothy, the deposit guard, having turned from the profane, empty babbling and opposing theories of the falsely named knowledge, which some asserting concerning the faith have missed the mark.
Grace (be) with you. Amen

A more literal translation.
O Timothy, (parakatatheken – para kata teko, see 22 August 2010) Stay close to what is produced from the seed (phulaxon) watch over the shoots, (ektrepomenos) deflect and declare the (bebelous) basis darts being thrown by (kenophonias) empty language and (antitheseis) opposite theories (psudonumon) deceptively called (gnosenos) knowledge, which some assert concerning the (pistin) entire basis and true foundation of belief (estochesan) have deviated from the truth.
