My thoughts on the direction CPAC is trying to take the Republican Party? I think they are showing signs of being corrupted and of becoming a paradox. They are going backward as the conservative movement is looking for leaders to move the nation forward.

17These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.
18For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.
19While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
20For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
21For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

You need to read 1 Kings 13 & 14. You can put the modern characters in their proper positions in the pattern. Ignore it and go the way of the DLC. Or are you now the DLC in disguise?

This is the incurable bruise, and thy wound is grievous. There is none to plead thy cause, that thou mayest be bound up: thou hast no healing medicines. On a different subject (but not really); the common traits of all the enemies of our Constitutional Republic and our Christian moral code, and the difference between their form of government and ours as intended. They all seek to be served. They all seek to preserve the leadership. All law, moral or civil, and rights are mutable. They are granted or removed based on the leaders being preserved and served. They all come to power only by deception and demagoguery. They are the proverbial wolf. Our form of government as intended is none of these. It is made in the image of the Good Shepherd.
