This Know Also

Jesus Christ Lord Is!
10 January 2012

Today’s verses at biblegateway.com are from 1 Peter 1. If you haven’t read the chapter lately you should. They see it as Peter saw and as it is plainly written when you aren’t afraid to accept it. The courage is to think outside the corruption of what the false ones are and have been teaching. You need to put on the incorruptible.

A few things to keep in mind about the primary today and the general election when it comes; any of the candidates will be infinitely better than Obama. Why? They will sign the bills that are sent from the Congress. This premise presumes that we will have a conservative House and Senate. If we do there is no way a republican President would dare veto a bill that comes.

If we would have been having real debates we would be hearing about what priorities would be set for rolling back 100 years of socialism. Instead all we are hearing are small blurbs of content directed and distorted by the same people who are the allies in and perpetrators of the destruction.

This brings me to a reminder that needs to be made to the candidates; it isn’t about you. Don’t think you are so important that you need become a destroyer to save us.

1 Peter 1
17And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:
18Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
19But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
20Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
21Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
22Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
23Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
24For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:
25But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

Isaiah 7:10 – 10, Psalms 71

2 Timothy 3
1This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
8Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
9But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as their's also was.
10But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
11Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.
12Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
13But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
14But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
15And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

In the Name of
Jesus Christ My Lord
Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah!
