You shall Know the Truth and Truth shall set you Free

Jesus Christ Lord Is!
21 January 2012

Did you get it? The epiphany is the power. The teaching, the sowing, is the power of God, it is the creation of man. This is Jerusalem, grasping the simplicity.

1 Corinthians 4
18Now some are puffed up, as though I would not come to you.
19But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power.
20For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.
21What will ye? shall I come unto you with a rod, or in love, and in the spirit of meekness?

There are two Greek words that are translated as “power” the majority of the times the word appears.

One is exousia as in authority that is given. The other is dunamis as in an enabling force.

The first is used in Acts 26:18 and is also a reference to the authority given to Satan. This authority is only granted temporarily as part of God’s plan for teaching man the answer to the great question of why we should listen and learn from Him.

Acts 26
18To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

Here we have the Spirit referencing the beginning and ending of Job.

The authority granted.
Job 1
12And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.

The true power seen.
Job 41
12I will not conceal his parts, nor his power, nor his comely proportion.

This is the creation of man. It is a very basic teaching technique.
Tell me, show me, walk through it with me, watch me do it and then just check periodically to make sure I am continuing to do it correctly.

This can also be seen in 2 Timothy 3 & 4.

1This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
8Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
9But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as their's also was.
10But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
11Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.
12Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
13But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
14But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
15And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

And in 2 Peter 2
1But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
3And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

Psalms 69

In the Name of
Jesus Christ My Lord
Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah!
